We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Social Hub. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing kitchen staff and resources to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Arranging training and development opportunities for staff
  • Scheduling staff according to business and staff needs
  • Responsible for the Performance Management of all kitchen staff
  • Translating menu changes into accurate recipes
  • Purchasing supplies, ingredients, and prefabricated foods
  • Monitoring accurate execution of HACCP guidelines and fire safety policy

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a managerial role at a similar level kitchen
  • HACCP certified
  • Strong knowledge of food products and up to date on market standards
  • Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques
  • Fluency in English
  • Licence to work in the UK
