**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Manager to join our client, a leading global branded FMCG food manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Category Management function for Tesco, a key customer, on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead Range Reviews and Category Performance Reviews to drive business growth and improve customer relationships.
- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Tesco, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of category strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform category strategies and drive business growth.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in category management, preferably in a branded FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
