About the Role

We are seeking an experienced developer with expertise in Python and C++ to enhance the pricing capabilities of our existing tools and models in inflation. As a member of our Front Office Quant team in a major investment bank based in London, you will work closely with our quantitative solutions team to provide pricing and risk management services to trading and sales teams.

Both quant developer and quant modeller profiles will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inflation models for vanilla and volatility products
  • Design and implement software solutions using Python and C++
  • Collaborate with the quantitative solutions team to integrate pricing and risk management capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with market practices and inflation modelling techniques
  • Contribute to the development of software development life cycle processes

Requirements

  • Strong background in inflation modelling, including vanilla and volatility products
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages
  • Experience with VBA and Excel is highly desirable
  • Understanding of software development life cycle processes
