Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Resource Coordinator to enhance our civil engineering division.

The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient coordination of internal resources while identifying the necessity for external contractors, emphasizing fatigue management and roster scheduling.

This role is pivotal in ensuring timely project delivery while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management:
  • Coordinate and allocate resource schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with the Resource Manager, project managers, and site supervisors to ascertain weekly resource requirements.
  • Monitor resource utilization and modify allocations as necessary to enhance efficiency.
  • Fatigue Management:
  • Uphold fatigue management protocols in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Track employee work hours and rest periods to ensure adherence to fatigue management guidelines.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to identify potential fatigue-related hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Roster Coordination:
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed while complying with fatigue management regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Resource Manager and site to align rosters with employee availability, skill sets, and project requirements.
  • Oversee leave requests, shift swaps, and overtime, ensuring operational needs are met without compromising employee welfare.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Liaise with the Resource Manager and site regarding resource-related inquiries from project teams and stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Resource Manager to identify resource needs and address any issues related to resource availability or fatigue management.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in resource coordination and workforce planning.
  • Proven expertise in fatigue management and roster scheduling.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices concerning fatigue management and workforce planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
