The People Co. / Assure Jobs is one of the UK's leading distributors, supplying over 10,000 food, drink, and catering supply products to over 40,000 customers across various sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews to monitor nutritional data and report on sustainability targets.
  • Help identify and resolve discrepancies in product information.
  • Work closely with Technical Managers to investigate and address customer complaints.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and support the delivery of timely and accurate reports.
  • Support product data management.
  • Play a key role in improving processes, working with reporting tools and systems to streamline data collection and reporting.
Requirements

A degree in Food Science or Technology is preferred, but equivalent higher education or learning is essential. Previous experience in a technical administrative or data analysis role would be advantageous. Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables), are a must. Problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills are second nature to you, and you thrive on using your initiative to manage various administrative tasks.
