Field Service Specialist

Location: Aberdeen/Offshore

Are you a seasoned Field Service Professional or a Mechanical Technician with experience in offshore environments? Are you seeking a new opportunity that offers significant career advancement and development?

We present a unique opening for a Field Service Specialist to join our Surface team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, retrieval, commissioning, and maintenance of Surface Wellhead and Tree Systems, along with associated equipment.

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, as extensive training will be provided. If you possess offshore experience and have practical skills in a mechanical capacity, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe, timely, and compliant operations at the well site or job location, including the rig-up and rig-down of equipment and installation of products.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistical support, and installation of products.
  • Support installation and conduct Site Integration Testing on Surface Trees and Wellheads as necessary.
  • Document product and service discrepancies in the field using the reporting systems within specified timelines.
  • Decommission and/or rig down and organize the return of test equipment, spare parts, or any surplus equipment to the facility.
  • Keep Field Service management informed regarding the status of programs, customer issues, failures, trends, and environmental conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Qualification in mechanical engineering to SVQ level 4 or ONC Mechanical Engineering, HNC, HND, or a Technical Bachelor's/Ordinary Degree.
  • Practical experience in a mechanical role.
  • Previous offshore experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
