About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Specialist to join our team at Reed. As an ERP Implementation Specialist, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of our ERP system, Infor Syteline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the needs of our business.
  • Manage the migration and/or implementation of ERP-related projects, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Customize and configure Syteline modules to align with our business requirements, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Design and execute test plans, creating supporting documentation for changes or implementations.
  • Develop and deliver user training sessions, ensuring a high level of user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement within the ERP system, driving innovation and process enhancements.
  • Coordinate deployment with stakeholders, collecting feedback for future enhancements.
  • Implement system upgrades and potentially migrate to new ERP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Utilize version control software to track programming changes, maintaining a high level of code quality and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues within the ERP system, providing exceptional user support and ensuring high system availability.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of the Syteline environment, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Syteline ERP usage, administration, or development.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a high level of understanding of databases and technical systems.
  • Business analysis and technical skillset, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a manufacturing and engineering context.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) and report building, with the ability to design and implement effective reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with APS Planning or similar manufacturing planning systems, with the ability to integrate these systems with our ERP system.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS), with the ability to design and implement effective reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, and Queries, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Desirable Skills
  • Some knowledge of Visual Basic (VB.NET & VBA), or the willingness to develop these skills, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a manufacturing and engineering context.
