Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at NOV. As a key member of our aftermarket team, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings to disassemble, clean, rework, rebuild, and pressure test NOV Pressure Control Equipment in the field and remotely via online video calls.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  2. Carry out work instructions as given by Supervisor, including equipment operation and maintenance.
  3. Monitor and control materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or faults.
  4. Identify product defects and complete documentation when defects are identified.
  5. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  6. Maintain quality and quantity of production.
  7. Check work using gauges, visuals, and measuring tools.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including inventory management.
  9. Support key initiatives such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and cost of quality.
  10. Accurately describe events during quality-related investigations.
  11. Willingly assist Supervisor to eradicate identified potential areas of non-conformance.
  12. Respond to identified process improvements and implement them willingly.
  13. Strive to maintain all relevant KPIs in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Engagement.
  14. Ensure all company policies surrounding health & safety, quality requirements, and housekeeping are met.
  15. Adhere to inspection criteria, policies, and procedures without exception.
  16. Travel to Customer and NOV bases domestically and internationally.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline preferred.
  2. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated computer literacy.
  4. Additional Skills:
    - Working knowledge of HNC engineering principles and practices
    - Familiarity with pressure testing and quality control protocols
    - UK BOSIET offshore training
