Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager to enhance our financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth transition of our financial systems and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the migration process from Sage Line 50 to Xero, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Xero.
- Work independently as the primary finance team member, demonstrating self-sufficiency and initiative.
- Transition from cost accounting to an accruals-based system, requiring confidence and adaptability.
- Manage general accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Payroll.
- Utilize MS Office applications, particularly Excel, to support financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools.
