Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with general cleaning and preparation duties in the kitchen, as well as serving in the servery during lunch and break times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general cleaning and preparation duties in the kitchen
  • Help to serve in the servery during lunch and break times
  • Load and unload plates, glasses, and cutlery from the dishwasher
  • Participate in kitchen work, including stores delivery, food preparation, and presentation
  • Assist with deliveries around the location and clean key pieces of equipment in the kitchen

Requirements

  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passion for food and service
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to follow health and safety procedures
