Job Title: Early Years Educator

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Bromley

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at an Outstanding School in Bromley. As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess and track pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in EYFS
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS check
