About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Universities. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages to our clients and customers.
  • Create visually appealing food displays and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Represent Chartwells - Universities in a professional and positive manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene standards, as well as health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing a high-quality experience for our clients and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
