About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our patients by cleaning and preparing various areas of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain patient rooms, corridors, and other areas of the hospital to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used effectively and efficiently.
  • Report any incidents or concerns related to infection prevention and control to the relevant team members.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospital team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and safe for patients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge in cleaning and infection prevention.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
