About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Hydrologist to join our team in London. As a Field Hydrologist, you will be responsible for conducting flood risk assessments, formulating drainage strategies, and carrying out water-related studies and evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork and site investigations to gather data and information
- Prepare and organize flood risk assessments, surface water drainage design, and site walkover surveys
- Supervise site investigations and water quality monitoring
- Interpret monitoring data and prepare hydrological risk assessments and chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports
- Collaborate with technical teams, including ESG, ecology, planning, and ESIA
Requirements:
- Master's level qualification in hydrology, environmental engineering, or a similar field
- Experience in using software for drainage design, preferably in Flow Causeway
- Full, current driving license valid in the UK
- Ability to problem-solve solutions in the field
