About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the success of our clients' projects, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide expert advice to project teams.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, including financial summaries, progress updates, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civils and groundworks sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction law, contracts, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial management software and other relevant tools.
