Job Title: Quantity Surveyor


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a civils and groundworks background
  • Strong understanding of construction law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software
