Site Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Staffline Recruitment (NI) Ltd. in Co Fermanagh.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate works on site, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Manage staff, monitoring performance against programme and optimising usage of company resources.
  • Devise traffic management plans and install required signage and traffic management.
  • Monitor progress and report daily activities in line with works schedule.
  • Measure works on site to enable pricing and support with tender preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with company's safety management systems and procedures.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and site audits to promote safety awareness and accountability.
  • Liaise with customers and statutory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Site Engineer within the civil engineering industry.
  • Experience in road surfacing industry would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on groundworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence required.
