Our Calvert Area operations are in search of a Completion and Handover Operations Manager to become part of our team.
This position is primarily based from our West Street facility located near Buckingham.To be eligible for this position, it is essential that you possess a valid driving license, as travel between sites in the Buckinghamshire region will be required frequently.
This role will involve overseeing handover, completion, and commissioning tasks within the Calvert Area.We expect you to work in conjunction with Senior Project Managers and the Project Quality team to secure technical assurance sign-off.
You will collaborate closely with the Land team to formulate and execute a plan for land restoration and handover.
We require you to generate weekly reports for the Project Director and our Handover and Completions Director utilizing the SmartConnect tool.
A crucial aspect of this role is to identify obstacles and challenges early, proposing solutions and enabling suitable corrective measures to be considered and implemented to safeguard our project delivery.
• Degree (or equivalent) level qualification in Civil Engineering
• Extensive experience in project execution with a robust background in handover, completion, and commissioning tasks
• Experience in managing major infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience in Technical Assurance (CRT's)
• Knowledge of Network Rail AMP process, GRIP, and/or PACE process
• A valid driving license is required.About The Company
EKFB is a joint venture that unites international, market-leading expertise from four prominent civil engineering and construction firms: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Agroman, and BAM Nuttall.
All four partners possess specialized knowledge in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the development of one of Europe's latest high-speed rail initiatives.
EKFB is honored to have been selected by HS2 to execute civil engineering tasks across an 80km segment of the new high-speed rail connection.
Our scope of work encompasses 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and approximately 30 million cubic meters of excavation.
