We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Property Maintenance Apprentice to join our team at Coventry City Council. As a Multiskilled Property Maintenance Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced team members to learn the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Multiskilled Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation and repair of doors, windows, locks, stair rails, and other parts.
- Contribute to the maintenance and repair of pitched and flat roofs, including tiling, felt, slate, and flashings.
- Support the plastering and floor screeding teams.
- Inspect and repair fire doors and ironmongery.
- Participate in general bricklaying, wall construction, step, ramp, and adaptation works.
- Assist with internal and external decorating, including wall coverings and textured finishes.
- Support the maintenance and repair of disabled aids.
- Contribute to the inspection, service, and repair of portable and fixed fire appliances.
You will be supported to undertake a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship standard. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 24 months. For further information about this apprenticeship, please visit our website.
