This organization is seeking a Cryptocurrency Quantitative Analyst and Trader to lead the development, execution, and optimization of highly profitable trading strategies in the crypto market.

As part of the Quantitative Team, your role will involve designing trading methodologies for cryptocurrencies, utilizing cutting-edge insights derived from scientific research through AI, Machine Learning, and sophisticated mathematical/statistical techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigating alpha opportunities across various timeframes within the cryptocurrency market
  • Thoroughly testing and implementing strategies using Python/C++ in live trading environments
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including Data Scientists, Quantitative Traders & Analysts, Software Engineers, and Senior Management to advance groundbreaking research projects

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in formulating systematic trading strategies within financial services or proprietary trading
  • Strong programming capabilities in C++ or a comparable object-oriented language are required
  • A Master's degree or PhD in applied mathematics, statistics/financial engineering, computer science, or physics
  • Proficient in tackling complex challenges
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing projects from inception to completion
  • Familiarity with or interest in cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology is a plus
  • Experience with High-Frequency Trading (HFT) strategies is essential

Compensation: £150,000 - £200,000 annually

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
