Role Overview
As a Support Worker within our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility will be to assist elderly individuals facing challenges due to physical limitations, helping them sustain their independence. This position involves facilitating residents with limited mobility to access dining areas during meal times, communal spaces for social interactions, and their private rooms upon request.
You will be tasked with supporting residents in personal care routines, including bathing, hygiene maintenance, and dressing. Additionally, you will engage in both physical and mental activities by participating in recreational and social events with residents, either individually or in groups.
Your role will focus on enhancing residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high-quality care.
