Job Title: Simulator Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Simulator Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Crawley, UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Full Flight Simulators and Lower Level training devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled simulator maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, software, and hardware defects
  • Install software and hardware updates and record testing results
  • Maintain the Simulator Software Configuration Management System
  • Assist with annual re-certification activities and system setup
  • Manage spares stock and outsourced repairs
  • Coach less experienced staff members and provide advice and assistance
  • Interface with simulator OEMs and in-house design and test departments
Requirements:
  • Previous FSTD experience and flight or aircraft maintenance experience
  • Relevant qualification, such as BTEC/HTEC, HND/HNC, or equivalent
  • Proven electrical, electronic, and mechanical theoretical knowledge and practical systems experience
  • Methodical problem-solving and proactive approach
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
