About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Solutions. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your duties will include attending client meetings, discussing design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and implement SCADA and PLC software solutions
  2. Write detailed functional design specifications
  3. Configure system architecture and network connections
  4. Commission and test control systems in the UK
  5. Lead and manage a team of engineers for optimal output (for lead positions)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A software engineering degree and/or electrical qualifications
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. At least 2 years of experience in control systems engineering
  4. A clean UK driving license
  5. Eligibility to work in the UK
  6. Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi) or SCADA development (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FTViewSE, WinCC, Clear SCADA, Iconics Package)
