Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the review and acceptance of engineering queries related to Embedded Steelwork Pools, Tanks, Liners, and Sumps (PTLS) scope.
  • Interface with multiple teams, including the Main Civil Contractor, Construction, and Technical Experts.
  • Respond to general queries, non-conformances, change requests, and exemption requests from contractors.
  • Perform surveillance of manufacturing documents to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure safety requirements are met through effective oversight.
  • Contribute to the resolution and closure of open points.
  • Assess technical risks and address them proactively.
  • Report operationally to the PTLS Discipline Lead.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
  • Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge within large-scale industrial projects.
  • Experience in equipment design, such as tanks, pools, and sumps.
  • Experience in manufacturing, welding, and installation industries.
  • Working knowledge of Eurocodes or RCC-M.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in a site environment.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues as needed.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience within a review and acceptance branch.
  • Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
