Become a Part of Lookers as an Automotive Service Technician
Permanent, Full-Time Position with 42 hours per week
Compensation: £49,600 OTE (including a basic salary ranging from £33,000 to £43,000 based on qualifications and experience, plus a bonus of £2,000 for successful placements)
Join Lookers as an Automotive Service Technician to operate in our workshop environment. Collaborating with a skilled team of technicians, you will perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using cutting-edge technology.

Our technicians play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service. If you are a certified Automotive Service Technician or a seasoned Mechanic, whether from a dealership or an independent workshop, we are eager to connect with you.
- Execute vehicle diagnostics utilizing state-of-the-art technology
- Conduct vehicle maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and customer preferences
- Perform authorized additional repairs as necessary
- Ensure warranty repairs comply with manufacturer standards
- Carry out road tests following repairs
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly
The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification, along with relevant automotive industry experience and a valid UK driving license. You should be self-driven, ambitious, and uphold high standards in vehicle servicing.
Previous experience with JLR is advantageous but not essential, as brand-specific training will be provided. Similar considerations apply for Diagnostic, MOT, and Electric Vehicle experience.
