As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will join the esteemed Identity security analyst team, IDFIRE, recognized as a leader in identity cyber threat detection and investigation. IDFIRE's mission is to uncover and analyze emerging threats to user and application authentication posed by various actors, including researchers and malicious entities. Collaborating with data scientists and engineers, you will help safeguard the integrity of our services (Entra & Microsoft Account) and the identities we oversee.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, anomaly detection, software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, or data science.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, identity access management, and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in project planning, developing cybersecurity incident response strategies, threat analytics, and automation within Security Operations Centers (SOC).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, which include specialized security screenings such as the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to security incidents, ranging from unexploited vulnerabilities to active attacks against Microsoft and our clients, coordinating responses per established protocols.
  • Conduct Post Incident Reviews to identify root causes of security incidents, prioritize lessons learned, and collaborate with engineering to define requirements and user stories.
  • Continuously assess and enhance existing processes while developing new opportunities for automation.
  • Identify and analyze new data sources to uncover novel patterns, facilitating the creation of automated detections and protections.
  • Develop and improve data analytics pipelines for cybersecurity and fraud investigations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and partner teams (MSTIC, MSRC, M365, XBox, Azure, and others) to achieve shared objectives.
