About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with specific learning needs in Louth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a pupil's educational journey, providing tailored support to ensure they thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with specific learning needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans, adapting activities to suit the pupil's abilities and needs.
  • Support the pupil in developing independence, confidence, and social skills in the classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure the pupil's needs are met.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Encourage a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
  • A caring, patient, and understanding approach to supporting children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
