Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting casework in areas including Homelessness, Possession, Injunction, and Committal proceedings, as well as Disrepair and Unlawful Eviction.
  • Adhering to precise time recording protocols.
  • Managing case files in accordance with SQM standards.
  • Representing clients under the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in handling all aspects of Housing-related casework.
  • Strong advocacy skills.
  • Familiarity with the legal aid framework and a commitment to facilitating access to justice through legal aid.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a compassionate approach to working with vulnerable clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in utilizing legal case management software.
