Position Overview

Objective of the Role

The Security Architecture division plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization. The responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining robust Security Architecture frameworks and reference models.
  • Establishing and updating Architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Working in conjunction with various architecture teams across Network, IT, Shared Services, Entertainment, and Connectivity sectors to collaboratively develop architectures and designs that meet established security benchmarks.
  • Providing assurance on security architecture and design for all initiatives, ensuring effective identification, management, and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is responsible for overseeing daily operations and tasks, ensuring that priorities are set appropriately and progress is communicated effectively. This role also involves enhancing the quality of team deliverables through peer evaluations and mentoring team members to support their professional growth.

Main Duties

  • Accountable for the creation and upkeep of Architecture design frameworks and reference models.
  • Responsible for the development of Architecture Standards and ensuring their relevance and accuracy.
  • Guarantee the implementation and delivery of Security Architecture baselines.
  • Advance the execution of the technical security strategy.
  • Plan and execute architectural design assessments for new Cloud and On-Premise solutions, identifying potential risks and suggesting suitable mitigations.
  • Oversee and enforce security compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical security guidance during project planning, design, and implementation phases.
  • Collaborate across various functions to support and promote cybersecurity modernization efforts.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to formulate and advocate for Security Policies, Standards, Principles, and a sustainable security strategy for future solution implementations.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of delivery progress for the team and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Security Architecture.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical security measures, cloud environments, and application security.
  • Familiarity with Security Architecture Frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, SABSA, and TOGAF.

Preferred Education and Certifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience demonstrating similar capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, OSCP, SANS/GIAC or equivalent.
  • Certification in one or more cloud service provider offerings such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.
