Job Title: Assistant Planner – Highways

Tony Gee is currently recruiting for an Assistant Planner in their Highways department.

Job Summary

The Assistant Planner will provide support to the Principal Planner in delivering robust Project Planning Support to the Tony Gee Highways team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze progress and change data from colleagues and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in updating contract schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Support the creation and presentation of progress reports and dashboards.
  • Understand and communicate the impact of project delays and change on contractual requirements.
  • Assist in quality reviews of internal and external schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date with new emerging technologies in the Project Controls space.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects and assist in training new team members.
  • Support the Principal Planner in raising the profile of the Planning Function within Tony Gee.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an Engineering or Construction Discipline.
  • Experience working in a project-based engineering design or construction environment.
  • Familiarity with project planning and monitoring functions.
  • Proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude to business change.
Desirable

Previous experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning solutions. Ability to work independently and be comfortable with new technologies.
