About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Roehampton Gate School. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and associated learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake initial assessments of new and present students to establish their communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students' language and communication development.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting students' needs.
  • Monitor and review students' progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and therapy plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Speech and Language Therapist with a BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification. You will also need to be passionate about working with children and young people with special needs, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
