Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Industry and Market Insights Specialist to join our team at Project People. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the technology industry, excellent analysis skills, and the ability to write analytical reports in both Chinese and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis on business and industry domains related to our European operations, including mobile cloud services, mobile payment, advertising, e-health, market access and compliance, and mandatory standards.
- Analyze information from multiple data sources to extract valuable insights and trend predictions.
- Assist our product and standards teams in monitoring and interpreting technology developments and policy changes in the industry, and their impacts on our European businesses.
- Proactively align with all relevant teams in a timely manner, based on business requirements and industry and market analysis results.
- Data Analysis:
- Use data analysis tools and methods to analyze the data related to the European market on a timely basis and gain in-depth insights into the data of consumer industries.
- Report Writing and Presentation:
- Assist in writing and producing detailed industry analysis reports, market research reports, and internal insight reports for our company.
- Develop high-quality presentations and present them to internal and external business stakeholders, representing our company.
- Standards and Industry Development:
- Support operations of exhibitions/summits/forums related to our standards and industry businesses and facilitate external demonstration of pilot projects.
- Participate in international standards or industry organization-based conferences to make contributions and obtain data on the latest industry/technology/standard trends.
Requirements
Competency Requirements:
- Educational Requirement:
- Master's degree or above in business, information technology, or a related subject.
- Expertise:
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret complex data and extract valuable information.
- Excellent report writing skills in both Chinese and English. Ability to write and present high-quality reports and presentations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suites (in particular Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis tools (such as Python, PowerBI, and Tableau).
- Experienced in data management and data analysis. Possess ability to efficiently process large amounts of data to obtain insight results.
- Personal Attributes:
- Highly interested in understanding trends and standardization in the technology industry.
- Strong teamworking and independent thinking skills.
- Language requirements: bilingual in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
- Travel: Open to undertaking global travel as the position requires.
