Technical Insight Specialist - Mandarin Speaking

Drive innovation by uncovering the latest industry trends and technologies as a Technical Insight Specialist at our Edinburgh Research Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth technical research to identify emerging trends and breakthrough technologies, ensuring our company stays at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Evaluate the potential applications of cutting-edge technologies, working closely with various business units to align research findings with strategic goals.
  • Create insightful and impactful reports, summarizing key technical developments and potential business applications.
  • Partner with technical experts and cross-functional teams to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.
  • Organize and lead internal workshops, sharing valuable insights to keep teams informed about emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Technical background in computer science or engineering, with practical knowledge of software concepts and architectures.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably with hands-on experience in industry standards and best practices.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, with the ability to write and communicate effectively in both Chinese and English.
  • Sharp analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset, capable of identifying commercial opportunities for new technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and well-structured reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in computer science, engineering, or business management.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to technical projects or product development.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools like Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in report creation and data visualization.
Compensation:
  • Salary range: £40,000 - £60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
