Technical Supervisor Position Overview

We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a Technical Supervisor within our Bovaer Department's daytime operations.

DSM is a prominent global entity specializing in the provision of vitamins, carotenoids, and various chemicals across multiple sectors. This position is integral to the Animal Nutrition and Health division, focusing on the formulation of nutritional premixes and additives for animal feed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing process documentation, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Aiding in the enhancement of URFS and refining existing software solutions.
  • Authorizing relevant Permits Cliq and performing LEO assessments.
  • Delivering training and assessment materials to the operations team.
  • Supporting the evaluation of field operators' competencies.
  • Compiling safety-related documentation (e.g., Job Safety Analyses, Task Risk Reviews, risk assessments).
  • Grasping the Management of Change (MOC) process and ensuring effective communication of changes to the team.
  • Overseeing document management systems (SOPs, PIDs, checklists).
  • Providing troubleshooting assistance to the operations team.
  • Contributing to start-up and shutdown preparations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
  • HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.
