Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Systems and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance the health and safety performance of the organization.
- Communication and Training: Provide training and support to employees, contractors, and agency workers on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Accident and Near Miss Reporting: Investigate and report on all accidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction sector.
- Skills: IT literate, comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, flexible approach to working hours, and ability to work independently.
