Health and Safety Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join Amazon's team as a Workplace Health and Safety Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving improvements in health and safety on-site and at a regional level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Safety Initiatives: Develop and implement effective safety programs to promote a culture of safety and inclusivity on site.
- Conduct Data Analysis: Use internal reporting tools to analyze data reports and root causes, providing leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
- Drive Safety Culture: Develop and implement programs to improve the safety culture in Amazon, fostering a culture that revolves around operating safely.
- Manage Health and Safety Standards: Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained while improving functionality and efficiency.
- Lead a Team: Manage a team of professionals and help them implement changes in response to employee feedback or seize opportunities to continuously improve processes.
- Education: A degree-level education is required.
- Qualifications: Additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level are preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation is essential.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English is required.
