Panoramic Associates is seeking a highly skilled SEN Case Officer to join our team. As a SEN Case Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to identify students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will develop, implement, and oversee Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Identification: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  2. Plan Development: Develop, implement, and oversee Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  3. Coordination: Liaise with teachers, parents, health professionals, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  4. Monitoring and Review: Regularly monitor student progress, reviewing and updating support plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  5. Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to schools, teachers, and parents on best practices for supporting students with SEN.
  6. Advocacy: Advocate for students with SEN to ensure their needs are met within the educational system.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a SEN Case Officer or in a similar role.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  5. Strong organizational and case management skills.
  6. A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting students with SEN.
