Job Title: Graduate Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Construction Project Manager to join our Estates team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a Graduate Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing construction projects from inception to completion
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant standards
  • Managing and resolving project-related issues and conflicts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures
