Team Overview The International Student Support team, part of the Student Registry, is dedicated to delivering exceptional visa assistance to international scholars and their families, both prior to their arrival and throughout their academic journey in Oxford, as well as during their transition back home or to employment in the UK.

Additionally, the team ensures that the University adheres to its responsibilities as a licensed sponsor of international students under the Points-Based Immigration System.

In this role, you will address a variety of inquiries from staff and students regarding visa guidance and compliance issues, while also supporting various administrative tasks essential for student visa holders.

Role Responsibilities This position will engage with the advisory and compliance sectors of the International Student Support team, providing guidance on securing entry clearance from abroad, extending visas within the UK, exploring post-study work options, and advising both staff and students on visa compliance requirements, including the preparation of Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) numbers for visa applications. The team also offers specialized support and advice for colleges, departments, and divisions utilizing the eVision Visa Management System. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, demonstrating a personable, confident, and diplomatic demeanor. You should exhibit tact, discretion, and initiative when interacting with senior colleagues, external organizations, and all members of the collegiate University. The ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines while managing a high volume of work is essential. Application Process
