Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Partnership Team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals experiencing rough sleeping and other complex health, housing, and social issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Applied Psychology Practice: Take an Applied Psychology stance to working with individuals, teams, and organisations, informing psychological ways of working within and across services.
  2. Partnership Team Input: Contribute to the partnership team for Multiple Complex Needs, including direct partners Adult Social Care (ASC) and Change Grow Live (CGL) substance misuse service.
  3. NICE Guidelines Implementation: Work with senior management, commissioners, and partners to implement NICE guidelines NG214 'Integrated Health and Social Care for people experiencing homelessness' within the Trust, the team, and wider services.
  4. Client Well-being: Promote the psychological health and well-being of clients and carers.
  5. Specialist Assessment and Intervention: Provide and coordinate highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals/groups/organisations, using a variety of applied psychology models.
  6. Complex Data Analysis: Draw appropriately from a range of assessment tools and methodologies, interpreting and integrating complex data and information from various sources to develop psychological formulations and identify the most relevant intervention strategy.
  7. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate progress, refining formulations and interventions as necessary.
  8. Risk Assessment: Assess and manage risk within an appropriate psychological framework.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain appropriate records in electronic or hard copy in line with Trust policies and Professional guidelines.
