About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Garforth Garden Centre. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the highest standards.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, plating, and garnishing.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen, including stock management and inventory control.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for food and hospitality.
