Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Haematology Nurse Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our haematology unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing treatment for blood-related disorders.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for haematology to take their career to the next level. As a Haematology Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and plan individualized care plans for patients undergoing haematology treatment
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest haematology treatments and best practices
Requirements
- NMC registration as a nurse
- Experience working in a haematology setting, preferably in a hospital environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and priorities
