We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence, dignity, and security
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive environment
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action
