About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of your job.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and residents, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Safeguarding training and ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
