Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and present monthly management accounts to the management team.
  2. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and payroll.
  3. Reconcile monthly balance sheets and manage intercompany balances.
  4. Oversee company banking and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  5. Prepare statistical returns and journals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  6. Develop and maintain the Fixed Asset register and Depreciation schedules.
  7. Support in the development and production of forecasts, budgets, and financial plans.
  8. Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents.
  9. Analyse financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Present recommendations to management to drive business growth.
  11. Prepare year-end schedules and ensure all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
  12. Manage sales commissions calculations and oversee other aspects of financial operations.
  13. Maintain financial controls and processes, and evaluate and monitor financial information systems.
Requirements:
  1. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  2. Qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  3. Experience working in a similar role with similar duties.
  4. Familiarity with Xero (advantageous but not essential).
  5. Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Essential: Must be able to work from the office. Flexible working can be discussed at interview stage.

Free Parking and Discretionary Bonus up to 30% of base salary.

Hours of Work: 8.30am-5.
