About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Governance Strategy Consultant to join our team at Change Digital - Digital & Tech Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering data strategy and governance projects to our clients in the Retail Banking and Financial Services sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Define and catalog critical data elements, including authoritative data sources, data classification, ownership, and business definitions.
  • Deliver projects to ensure compliance with key policies and standards, including data profiling and quality analysis.
  • Utilize data strategy and governance tools, such as Purview, Informatica, Collibra, and Snowflake, to drive data quality and governance initiatives.
  • Apply proven delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data governance and strategy initiatives.
Requirements
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SAS.
  • Working familiarity with NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake.
  • Technical business analysis experience and ability to deliver successful projects in highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills, with experience in mentoring and employee development.
