Job Description

As a key member of our production team at Faerch, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to set up the machine to the correct standards, perform colour checks using standardized equipment and software, and maintain efficient running of production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up the machine: Ensure that the printing equipment is properly set up and calibrated to meet the required standards.
  • Colour checks: Conduct regular colour checks using standardized equipment and software to ensure that the printed products meet the required quality standards.
  • Maintaining production efficiency: Monitor and maintain the efficient running of production, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact productivity.
  • Quality control: Follow the correct Quality Check steps from start to end of the production process to ensure that the printed products meet the required quality standards.
  • Supporting department KPIs: Work with your team to achieve department KPIs related to output, waste, and quality rejects.
  • Basic maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the printing equipment.
  • Teamwork and housekeeping: Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean, safe working area and adhere to strict housekeeping rules.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Technical/Mechanical aptitude: Possess a good understanding of technical and mechanical principles.
  • Computer skills: Have good computer skills and be proficient in using standardized equipment and software.
  • Verbal communication skills: Possess good verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Work ethic and teamwork: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve department goals.
  • Ability to take and follow instructions: Be able to take and follow instructions from management and colleagues.
  • Previous printing experience: Previous experience in printing would be beneficial but not essential.
