Customer Support Collections Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Collections Officer to join our busy team. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for recovering monies due on customer accounts within the current regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and authorized third parties relating to collections and recoveries activities on Motor Finance accounts.
- Identify and help customers who may be experiencing financial difficulty.
- Examine accounts in arrears, verify the elements, obtain instructions regarding their recovery, and determine appropriate action.
- Agree and monitor forbearance arrangements with customers.
- Interpret customer's instructions and action.
- Adhere to agreed company regulation and legislation, such as FCA, DPA, CONC, and MCOB.
Requirements:
- Previous collections experience is essential.
- Previous motor finance experience would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and work within a team.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willing to learn new systems quickly using existing IT skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and remain calm under pressure.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £24,750 plus discretionary company bonus of approx £1,500 per annum, and excellent company benefits.
