Job Description

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design projects for various civil/structural infrastructure projects, including substation design for UK Power Networks.
  • Collaborate with a 30-strong team to deliver high-quality designs and meet client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including attending meetings and site visits.
  • Manage projects, mentor staff, and issue fee bids.
  • Design and develop large-scale civil/structural projects, including bridges, highways, and platform extensions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil/structural engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with steel and concrete design, as well as survey work and occasional unsociable hours.
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects, including remediation works, bridge replacement, and refurbishment.
