Taxation Lead

Are you a qualified Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor with substantial post-qualification experience and expertise in both UK and International taxation? If so, we present an excellent opportunity to join a compact global tax team within a private equity-backed, industry-leading organization. This role is designed to cover maternity leave and offers a chance to assist the Head of Tax with compliance, planning, and policy for both indirect and direct corporate taxes across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance processes, relationships, and controls for the European region.
- Manage UK Corporation tax returns, UK VAT returns, and European VAT and corporation tax returns, while supporting Financial Statements.
- Assist in the global transfer pricing process.
- Support the Head of Tax with mergers and acquisitions, tax audits, and other advisory tasks.
- Contribute to tax reporting for statutory financial statements and forecasting.
- Act as a tax business partner for all functions within the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTT).
- Significant experience in corporation tax post-qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK and International Tax.
- Expertise in Tax Accounting.
- Familiarity with OneSource.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Proficient in planning and prioritization.
